It is not the Nectar Classic Hybrid, which adds a coil unit and has its own review here, and not the Premier, Luxe, or Ultra. Nectar sells the same four names in both a foam and a hybrid line — eight mattresses, four names.
• Type — All-foam memory foam. Checked 2026-08-26. A cooling cover with an antimicrobial treatment over 1 inch of memory foam, 3 inches of responsive support foam, and an 8-inch foundational foam layer. Fiberglass-free and CertiPUR-US certified. No coils at any level.
• Firmness — Medium firm — 6/10 measured. Checked 2026-08-26. Worth noting a divergence: the independent lab measured 6 of 10, medium firm, while Nectar’s current product page describes the feel as "firm." Treat the measurement as the better guide to how it will actually feel, and the label as marketing language that has shifted over time.
• Height — 12 inches. Checked 2026-08-26. Confirmed identically by Nectar and by independent measurement across every size.
• Price — Check current price — $699 queen. Checked 2026-08-26. Nectar advertises against a "Total Value" figure rather than a struck regular price, so treat the promotional price as the effective everyday price. The independent reviewer recorded a $349–$1,098 range across sizes, making this one of the cheapest mattresses reviewed on this site.
• Trial — 365-night home trial. Checked 2026-08-26. A full year, among the longest offered anywhere. Nectar asks buyers to keep the mattress through a break-in period before requesting a return, which matters on a memory-foam bed whose feel changes over the first few weeks.
• Delivery — Free compressed-box shipping. Checked 2026-08-26. Ships in one to two days, compressed in a box. Allow time for the foam to expand and for initial off-gassing to clear before judging the feel.
• Returns — Free returns during the trial. Checked 2026-08-26. Nectar arranges collection and refunds the purchase price rather than deducting a return fee, which is more generous than several rivals at this price.
• Warranty — Forever Warranty (lifetime limited). Checked 2026-08-26. Covers material and manufacturing defects for as long as you own the mattress. Normal softening and general wear are excluded — and on an all-foam bed with a 6/10 measured durability rating, softening is precisely the change most likely to occur.
• Firmness — Medium firm (6/10). Measured data. Measured at medium firm, notably softer than the "firm" descriptor Nectar’s current product page uses. Expect a cradling surface rather than a supportive platform.
• Pressure relief — 8.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. The standout result, and remarkable at this price. Memory foam over a deep foam core distributes load broadly at the shoulder and hip, which is exactly what side sleepers need.
• Cooling — 6.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. A weakness, and an unavoidable one. The deeper you sink into memory foam the more of your body is enclosed by it, and a cooling cover treatment does not offset that at this contour depth.
• Motion isolation — 8.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Excellent, and the structural advantage of having no coils at all. Movement is absorbed where it happens rather than carried across the surface to a partner.
• Response / bounce — 5.5 / 10 ease-of-movement rating. Measured data. The lowest measured result. Memory foam recovers slowly by design, so you climb out of a contour rather than being pushed out of it — the direct cost of the strong pressure relief above.
• Edge support — 7 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Respectable for an all-foam mattress, which typically has no reinforced perimeter at all. Expect some compression when sitting on the side, but not a collapse.
