• Exact model — EcoCloud Hybrid. Checked 2026-10-20. WinkBeds’ latex hybrid, sold in a single Medium feel. It is not The WinkBed, which is a polyfoam Euro-top hybrid in four firmness options, and not the all-foam GravityLux. Each of the three has its own review here because they share almost nothing beyond the brand.
• Type — Talalay latex hybrid. Checked 2026-10-20. An organic cotton cover with New Zealand wool over a 4-inch Talalay latex comfort layer, on a five-zoned individually wrapped coil unit with an Extra-Edge anti-sag perimeter. Latex rather than memory foam is what separates this from every other WinkBeds model.
• Firmness — Medium — 5/10 measured. Checked 2026-10-20. One feel only, and label and measurement agree at a true middle. Latex gives that middle a different character from foam: it lifts rather than sinks, so a medium latex bed feels more supportive than a medium memory-foam one at the same number.
• Height — 12.5 inches. Checked 2026-10-20. Confirmed identically by WinkBeds and by independent measurement.
• Price — Check current price — $1,999 queen on sale, $2,856 list. Checked 2026-10-20. The most expensive mattress reviewed on this site at list. Latex is costly to produce and the organic cotton and wool cover adds to it. WinkBeds discounts periodically, so the sale figure is closer to the effective everyday price; the independent reviewer recorded a $1,856–$3,284 range across sizes.
• Trial — 120-night trial, 30-night minimum. Checked 2026-10-20. You must keep the mattress at least 30 nights before requesting a return or exchange, so the decision window runs from night 30 to night 120. Latex feels unfamiliar to anyone coming off memory foam, which makes that break-in genuinely useful.
• Delivery — Free shipping to the contiguous US. Checked 2026-10-20. Latex and coils make this heavy — plan for help at setup rather than handling it alone.
• Returns — Free returns with arranged pickup. Checked 2026-10-20. WinkBeds arranges collection at no charge and issues the refund within about five days of pickup, rather than asking you to repackage a heavy latex hybrid.
• Warranty — Lifetime limited warranty. Checked 2026-10-20. Covers manufacturing defects and indentations over 1.5 inches. Note it is non-transferable, so it ends if the mattress changes hands. Certifications include CertiPUR-US foam, certified organic cotton, Rainforest Alliance, and recycled steel.
• Firmness — Medium (5/10). Measured data. A true middle, with label and measurement agreeing. The material matters more than the number: latex at 5/10 supports more actively than foam at the same rating.
• Pressure relief — 8.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Strong, and achieved without deep sink. Four inches of Talalay latex distributes load at the shoulder and hip while the zoned coils keep the waist supported.
• Cooling — 9.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. The best cooling result on this site. Talalay latex is an open, pinholed material and the coil unit beneath it moves air freely — this is structure doing the work, not a cover coating that wears off.
• Motion isolation — 6.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. The one clear weakness, and the direct trade-off for the responsiveness and cooling above. Latex springs back and coils carry vibration, so a partner’s movement travels.
• Response / bounce — 9.5 / 10 ease-of-movement rating. Measured data. Near the top of the scale. There is no contour to climb out of — latex returns to shape immediately, which makes changing position almost effortless.
• Edge support — 9 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Excellent. The Extra-Edge perimeter system keeps the full width usable for sleeping and holds firm under a seated load.
