• Exact model — Helix Plus. Checked 2026-10-20. Helix’s dedicated higher-weight model, engineered for sleepers over roughly 230 lb. It sits outside the six-model Core collection (Sunset, Moonlight, Midnight, Dusk, Twilight, Dawn), which are built around sleeping position rather than body weight. There is also a Luxe upgrade tier across the Helix range with different construction and pricing.
• Type — Reinforced pocketed-coil hybrid. Checked 2026-10-20. A Tencel or upgraded GlacioTex cooling cover over dense polyfoam comfort layers, on a pocketed-coil support core with a reinforced perimeter. Helix describes the comfort layer as Dynamic Response Foam. The build is specified for higher load rather than for a particular sleeping position.
• Firmness — Firm — 7/10 measured. Checked 2026-10-20. One firmness only, measured at 7 of 10. That is deliberate: a higher-weight mattress needs more pushback to keep hips level, so there is no softer option in this model. Lighter sleepers will find it genuinely firm.
• Height — 11.5 inches in independent testing. Checked 2026-10-20. The independent lab records 11.5 inches across every size. Several retail listings for this model cite 13 inches or more, and Helix’s own product page could not be retrieved programmatically on the checked date, so confirm the height on your own listing before buying bedding for it.
• Price — Check current price — $1,279 queen with code, $1,598.75 list. Checked 2026-10-20. Recorded on the checked date with a 20%-off site code applied to the base Breathe Knit build with standard support. Helix discounts almost continuously, so the with-code figure is closer to the effective everyday price. Earlier checks could only cite the independent reviewer’s $649–$1,449 across-sizes range.
• Trial — 365-night sleep trial, 30-night break-in. Checked 2026-10-20. Helix extended its trial from 120 to 365 nights by the October 2026 check, and the earlier 100-night full-refund cutoff no longer appears on the trial page. Keep the mattress at least 30 nights before requesting a return or exchange.

• Warranty — Limited lifetime warranty. Checked 2026-10-20. Helix now states that every Helix mattress carries a limited lifetime warranty against defects in workmanship and materials, replacing the 10-year term recorded in August 2026. Normal wear and accidental damage are excluded; confirm thresholds in the written mattress warranty.
• Firmness — Firm (7/10). Measured data. Firm by design rather than by accident. A mattress specified for higher body weight needs pushback to keep hips in line, and that requirement sets the feel for every sleeper on it.
• Pressure relief — 7.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Decent rather than plush, and the honest trade-off for the firmness. Dense foam over thick coils cushions enough to work at higher load without letting anyone sink through it.
• Cooling — 8 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Good. Coil airflow does most of the work, helped by a shallow contour that keeps less of the body enclosed. The GlacioTex cover upgrade targets this further.
• Motion isolation — 7.5 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Respectable for a hybrid. Dense comfort foam damps more movement than a thin comfort layer would, though a coil core still carries more than an all-foam bed.
• Response / bounce — 7 / 10 ease-of-movement rating. Measured data. Adequate. There is little contour to climb out of, so repositioning is straightforward, but the dense foam is not especially springy either.
• Edge support — 9 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. A standout, and disproportionately useful on this model. Reinforced perimeter coils keep the full width usable and make getting in and out easier — a real consideration for the sleepers this bed targets.
