• Exact model — Saatva Rx. Checked 2026-08-26. Saatva’s specialty model, sold in one build and one feel. It is not the Saatva Classic, which our separate review covers in three firmness options and two heights, and not the Saatva HD, which is the model Saatva positions for people over roughly 300 lb. Sold direct by Saatva and in its viewing rooms rather than through third-party retailers.
• Type — Memory-foam and micro-coil hybrid. Checked 2026-08-26. An organic cotton cover with an antimicrobial treatment over gel-infused memory foam with lumbar-zone quilting, a graphite and phase-change infused foam layer, an 8-inch triple-tempered micro-coil unit, a high-density foam perimeter encasement, and a stable base.
• Firmness — Medium soft — 4/10 measured. Checked 2026-08-26. Saatva describes the feel as "supportive plush," which it places at 3–4 on a 10-point scale; the independent lab measured 4 of 10 and agrees this is the softer end of the market. There is only one firmness, so there is no firmer version of this model to switch to.
• Height — 11.5 inches. Checked 2026-08-26. Lower profile than most luxury hybrids, which matters for sheet fit and for anyone who needs a specific bed height to get in and out comfortably.
• Price — Check current price — $3,124 queen on sale, $3,499 list. Checked 2026-08-26. Saatva discounts almost continuously, so the sale figure is closer to the effective everyday price than the list figure. Across sizes the independent reviewer recorded a $1,696–$3,732 range. This is a premium price: roughly four times the entry hybrids reviewed elsewhere on this site.
• Trial — 365-night home trial. Checked 2026-08-26. A full year to decide, which is unusually generous and genuinely useful for a purchase people often make while managing a long-term condition that varies week to week.
• Delivery — Free in-room delivery and setup. Checked 2026-08-26. Delivered flat and assembled in the bedroom with removal of the old mattress included, rather than compressed in a box. Saatva also runs viewing rooms in a number of US cities if you want to lie on it first.
• Returns — Free mattress removal during the trial. Checked 2026-08-26. Saatva collects the mattress rather than asking you to repackage it. Confirm the current return-fee position on the written policy at checkout, since Saatva has applied a processing fee on some models in the past.
• Warranty — Lifetime warranty. Checked 2026-08-26. Saatva publishes a lifetime term for this model. As with every mattress warranty, coverage turns on defect thresholds and on using proper support — read the written warranty for the indentation depth that qualifies before relying on it.
• Firmness — Medium soft (4/10). Measured data. A genuinely plush surface, and the measurement agrees with Saatva’s own "supportive plush" language rather than contradicting it. One firmness only, which is the central constraint on who this mattress suits.
• Pressure relief — 8 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. The mattress’s clearest strength, and the one that most directly matches what it is built to do. The plush top distributes load at the shoulder and hip while the micro-coil unit limits how far you actually sink.
• Cooling — 8 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Strong for a plush memory-foam build, where deep contouring usually costs airflow. The graphite and phase-change infused layer and the micro-coil unit both work in its favour here.
• Motion isolation — 8 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. Well suited to couples. Micro-coils transmit less movement than the larger pocketed springs used in most hybrids, and the thick foam above them absorbs the rest.
• Response / bounce — 7 / 10 ease-of-movement rating. Measured data. Adequate rather than agile. A plush memory-foam surface always asks a little more effort to move across, which is worth weighing if changing position at night is already uncomfortable for you.
• Edge support — 7 / 10 test-lab rating. Measured data. The weakest of the measured attributes despite a high-density foam perimeter encasement. Sitting on the edge to dress or to get up compresses a plush surface more than a firm one.
